Mission The purpose of the Pakistani Association of Columbus Indiana is to preserve and promote the rich culture of Pakistan in Columbus while serving as an interconnection of culture between the Pakistanis and Columbus community. We want to honor the diversity in Columbus, Indiana through celebrating our culture with other cultures and creating a strong network of unity within the people. We want to dedicate our organization towards the growing strand of diversity, while serving as a positive resource centre that welcomes everyone to the respectable multicultural atmosphere in Columbus, Indiana.
Goals
  • Work for mutual benefit and promoting good ethical values.
  • Promote the awareness of the Pakistani culture and promote unity members and the community that Columbus serves
  • Help new Pakistani individuals / families to settle down and get awareness with Columbus, Indiana.
  • Diversify membership through recruiting new members.
  • Promote discussions on topics of national and international areas of interest members and as well as members of other organizations.
  • Plan and coordinate social and cultural activities.
  • Arrange special functions to share various Pakistani holidays with community.
Membership Info The member of the association shall consist of any person (a) who is born in Pakistan or have parents born in Pakistan and is a resident of the state of Indiana or (b) may be elected time to time by the board members.

Every member of the association will be subjected to these Bylaws, and can enjoy all privileges afforded by the association.
Festivals & Celebrations Organized by Association Pakistan's Independence Day - August, 14th  the day when Partition of India took place. In 2009, members gathered at Lake Monroe.
